Our lab will present a paper at the upcoming Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) 2013 Conference. Led by Chien-Ming Huang, the paper presents an exploratory study of how different types of narrative robot gestures—deictic, iconic, metaphoric, and beat gestures—shape interaction outcomes such as learning, perceptions of the robot, and user experience.
