A Social Robotics course was offered for the first time this summer as part of the Wisconsin Alumni Association’s Grandparent’s University. In each two day session, grandparents and grandkids learned about what it means to be social, how our behavior affects our interactions, what the field of social robotics looks like, and how to program a Lego Mindstorms robot. You can view more pictures here, here, and here.

Interested in learning about social robotics and other majors throughout UW? The information for the 2012 session of GPU will be available here in the future.
